Sorry if this has been answered, but I could not find what I am looking for. I want to go hunting with one of these rounds for boar, deer, and possibly elk if one of them will knock one down.
In doing a Internet search it seems that the knockdown power goes to the 6.5, however it seems Alexander will not licence his design to anyone, but that was from 2007. Has that changed at all since then? Are both rounds readily available for purchase and reloading? Cost?
Will a 16" barrel work for my purpose or should I go with a 18" for better long range accuracy?
