Who makes a good and reliable 6.8 mag? Looking for a 10 rd mag. I’ve used the search key and sorry if this has been covered but didn’t find anything. If so please leave a link to the thread please. Thanks

Can you use a 20rd 5.56 pmag?

I have a 10 round, 2 15 rounders and 25 rounder that are 100% flawless and I keep the 10 and 15 rounders loaded most of the time.
They also actually hold more ammo.
The 10 holds 11
the 15 holds 17
the 25 holds 26
I love their mags, they are steel with steel floorplate and Magpul follower and great springs. Not cheap-but worth it
There have been several posts on the 68forums where people have done this and said it worked. I just loaded one up to see if ten rounds would fit, and they did; but I wouldn’t trust it for anything other than range use… I prefer PRI mags and have never had a failure (1,000s of rounds & 1/2 dozen uppers) using the 10, 15, & 25 rd versions. However, I’ll probably try a few of the new CPD mags just to see how well they work. It’s hard to argue with being able to buy three for the price of one if they work.

Yes, but you’ll lose capacity and reliability. Load until you feel the mag start bulging, which is at 7-8 rds in a 20rd pmag or 10-11rds in 30rd pmag.

I use the pri 10 rounders for hunting. They are great.
I have Barrett 30 rounders for shtf purposes. 10 and 15 round PRIs that I use for hunting and have had ZERO issues with them as well.
