Hey all, I am in the midst of a 6.8 build and I was wondering if it is possible to just get a 6.8 bolt and put on my carrier rather than buying an entirely new bolt carrier group?
Yes, 6.8 bolts use standard (5.56) carriers.
Yes… a 6.8 bolt will mate with a standard 5.56 carrier. Only the bolt itself is specific to the caliber.
