Mine should be here very soon. They are also shown in the latest Small Arms Review. They have been adjusted in height to work with flat top AR rails unlike the HK originals for the 416 which I have that are calibrated for the additional height of the 416’s gas piston. I love diopter sights. I’ll post some pics soon.
Thanks much to Centurian Arms for my 416 type iron sights that arrived today. Even saw a mini review in the new issue of Small Arms Review. The sights are outstanding and very well made.
While not everyone’s cup of tea, I love HK diopter sights. Nice touch for me was the use of an open notch for the 100m rear. HK uses both notched and peep depending on the weapon system. My HK416 factory rear uses a peep for comparison sake.
They are shown on my primary carbine for pics sake but are intended for a new upper in the works. I will have to fiddle with optics as these sit much higher obviously than any folding BUIS. Great job and thanks again to the Centurian Arms guys.
The sights look great, But phillips head cross bolts???
They will work fine. Even the mighty HK originals are the same way. Loctite is your friend.

I’m gonna say owning an HK sight tool that it comes with a phillips head driver and maybe thats the reason??

I hear ya, but a phillips head can be your worst enemy when trying to loosen a crossbolt that is secured on by Loctite. Im sure the phillips head bolt can be replaced with a hex or torx head bolt without too much trouble. I like the diopter rear sight, but I need to be able to remove and replace it to take complete advantage of my MRP’s multi configuration capability. I would like to be able to remove my Tripower and rear BUIS easily (I like using a fixed BUIS) and mount a variable scope such as a 1-4x Nightforce or Shortdot. This diopter sight with a LaRue QD lever would be sweeet! Mark, ya listening???

It’s looking like I’m going to have to pick some of these up for the Lightfighter Arrgh-15 lower I have sitting around. I’ve been waiting to build it up but these are giving me some motivation.
Is their any difference between these and the actual HK sights other than height?
Very minor differences.
-100m setting on HK is a peep, on the CA it is a notch
-yellow markings HK, white CA

I like them. I thought the fact that they are higher to match the front AR15 sight would be a bad thing, but they look right. I guess they’d give the same cheekweld as on a 416 because the rail height is greater on the 416. So, it would all even out.

Phillips head & locktite = BAD
Almost every bolt on AR accessories are HEX… They need to standardize and go HEX.
Otherwise, they look great! How is the sight picture on a CARBINE length? Like it?

No, they need a large TORX. 
Again, not a big fan of phillips either but that is what HK uses because their sight adjustment tool has a phillips tip. And you need that tool to adjust these sights. Well, not need, but it makes it easy. Many iron sights are installed with slot heads like Troy and KAC.
Sight picture is awesome on the carbine. I’m going to try a LT BUIS with the 416 front to see how that works.
They are $235 shipped for the set. If you have to have the HK originals, they are $300 and are available elsewhere.
Slot head isn’t as good as Allen or Torx but it’s better than Phillips. A poor fitting flathead screwdriver can ugly up the slot but a poor fitting Phillips will leave you with a cone shaped hole that is good for nothing except a center for the drill bit when you drill it out.
