.357 sig upper??????

Are there any builders out there in AR land that has a .357 Sig upper or barrel? I have many thousands of rounds that I never be able to shoot through my handguns so I want a .357 upper. I was looking at the RRA .40 uppers and that got me thinking about one in .357.

Thanks

Dave

I’ve never heard of one, seems really pointless to me but YMMV.

You mite check with Olympic Arms,I seem to remember they where going to offer pistol caliber set ups

I’ve never seen them built commercially however, I did see a custom built one over on the SIG Forum.

Not pointless if you have access to the ammo like he said in his post.

I’d rather just shoot the ammo through a pistol or sell it rather than buy a .357 upper, just seems more logical and cheaper.

All the more reason to get one! It was very liberating to me to decide that I wasn’t going to try to justify by some rationale getting a whatever. Now, I just decide I want a whatever and I get one. A 416 caliber rifle is the next whatever. Utterly pointless. That’s the beauty of it.

Perhaps buy one of the RR .40 uppers, and have someone make you a barrel in .357 SIG for it…then sell the .40 barrel to help recoup costs.

It’s a range toy anyway, so I wouldn’t hold it to the same standard as I would a Colt 6540 in 9mm.

I found this using Google… I have no idea about the quality of their product:

Bazooka Brothers

The Bazooka Brothers thing is pretty interesting. I have toyed with the idea of a 40 caliber rifle because I have so much brass. These uppers are gas operated in pistol calibers.
