.338 spectre Build?

Not sure if this is really the right forum but I was thinking about starting a .338 spectre build in a bolt gun.

What I would like is a magazine fed, short barreled, suppressed bolt-gun with a folding stock. Is that even possible with this caliber?

I have read that it uses the same bolt dimentions as the 6.8 SPC. Could I start with a remington 700 in 6.8 SPC and get rebarreled?

Sorry, if its seems I am lost that is because I am. I simply know nothing about bolt-guns or even where to look. If anyone has any good websites or anything that would help me understand the process I would need to go through find or have build what I am looking for please feel free to post those.

Savage has a new small action that would seem perfect for this, I just can’t recall the model number:o. I believe it is center feed, would probably need a custom stock , but would be nicely proportioned. The Spectre is a very capable round, I have one and am constantly impressed with what such an efficient little case will do! I’m sure if you ask Marty (after SHOT show) he could bring us all up to speed on the best action for your wants.
