338-300 Win Mag

Hello all,

Do any of you know about this cartridge? Do any of you have one?

I’ve got a 338 Edge and heard about this one recently how it’s just a 300 Win necked up to 338, which gives you a longer neck than the 338 Win Mag.

It might be 5 years old, but what was discussed is as valid now as then.

There are simply better options.

338-375 Ruger/338 campfire has more ass and no belt. I’d use that.

What can you do with that caliber that you couldn’t do with your Edge? I like everything I’ve read about the edge, but will stick with my 338-378. Maybe if I ever need to re-barrel I’ll go lapua or edge.

Less recoil and if you care for it, you can fit it in an AI magazine.
