I am looking for some helpful advice. I would like a new rifle in .308. I think I have gotten it narrowed down to the Bushmaster or a DMPS. Can anyone give me some pros and cons? On these rifles. ?
I have a DPMS Oracle in .308. Accuracy is 1.5 MOA. I have about 1000 rounds through it & haven’t had any problems with it so far. It’s not a top tier battle rifle, but I knew that when I bought it. I’d say it’s a pretty good budget .308 semi.
Of those two manufacturers I would go with DPMS for a .308 rifle.
If I were you and was interested in a .308 rifle I would definitely think about a DS Arms FAL or a factory built G3. There are multiple threads at the top of this page that will help you out.
