I have an older IMI galil, and factory scope mount. I am thinking of dropping a red dot on the mount, anyone do this? Or is it a terrible idea? It is one of my favorite rifles.

I wish I could answer your question. I have an older IMI Galil in .308, but can’t find the original scope mount.
