300 BLK Upper Question

I’ve got a Colt 6920, but it’s illegal to hunt deer with the 5.56 NATO in Washington state, so I’m thinking of picking up a COTS 300 BLK upper with a 16" (or longer) barrel for this. I’m not interested in an SBR, a can, or a build.

What’s the hot ticket these days?

Thanks,

Okie John

If you don’t want to build, I’d look for a Daniel Defense or Centurion or any of the quality uppers.

I wouldn’t go any longer than 16". I like and use a 16" but I don’t think there is anything to be gained by going longer.

This is a fantastic deal:

That is a good deal, it would be difficult for the OP to find a better one for the application, especially for the price for the reliability provided with it combined with a lower with an appropriate buffer weight.

It really is. Thanks for posting that.

Wow, that is an insane deal!!

That is an insane deal, and I would jump on it if I was looking for a 16" 300 blk. You’d be extremely hard pressed to find a better deal for that level of quality.

Yea, your at that price with just the AAC barrel and blackout flashhider so the KAC rail and the BCG are just freebies. If you are looking for a 16" blackout this is without a doubt the setup to get. I have the AAC MPW with the 9" barrel and it is an awesome shooter that eats whatever I feed it. I am very happy with that gun!

That deal of $546 didnt last long. Now its $747 :frowning:

If I would’ve seen that for $546 there’s no way I could’ve turned it down. I have ammo but can’t shoot it. Still waiting for approval for my 9" upper.

That is a pretty good deal.
I predict your upper will grow a lower in the near future.
They nearly always do.
