So I’m looking for a bigger round for Hog and Deer hunting in Florida, and was between 6.8 SPC and 300 BLK.
I finally settled on 300 BLK because of the cost of switching one of my rifles to 300 BLK by swapping a barrel is much lower than buying a new 6.8 Upper, BCG, and Magazines.
I’m looking for barrels and all I can find is either Noveskes on the high end, or CMMGs on the low end. I’m looking for a 16 inch barrel.
Anybody have a line on 300 BLK barrels?

Yep, if I had to pick it would be a tough choice between the AAC and the Noveske. I doubt you could go wrong with either.

There are plenty of barrels to choose from. Delta Company seems to put out a good product but I went with the Noveske 8". The cost was nearly the same since the Noveske comes with a gas block/tube and is pinned (important for me).
For a 16" I would’ve gotten something else since Noveske pricing goes up dramatically after 12".
The cost of 6.8 SPC vs 300 BLK is not much different from each other. Barrels are about the same price. Bolts cost about the same. For me it doesn’t matter that you can use the same one since I’m not gonna sit there and keep swapping bolts/BCG’s back and forth to use on different uppers. How many mags do you plan to buy for hunting?
Noveske is the way to go.
