300 BLK Dutch military

This will be interesting to see how it unfolds.

Is this the first application of 300 BLK in a military unit?

It appears to be the first public acknowledgement of its use by a military unit. I’m guessing this cartridge has already gained a following in US units who have authority to make purchases outside of tradition acquisition channels.

This is great to hear. Maybe eventually there will be surplus 300blk available!

Interesting development. I’m interested to see what the submissions are.

In the last D5 Carbine class I hosted for Haley, Travis was talking about certain US SOF(D) units rebarreling their 10.5in HK416’S to 300BlkOut awhile ago and have been running them hard since.

15 years from now!

In all seriousness, this is good news, and hopefully will advance the industry.

I’m pleasantly surprised to hear this. I would like to see some pictures, just for chairborne reasons.

There is no surplus ammunition anymore. President Obama does not allow it to be imported by executive action. Allowing it would make shooting too affordable.

I thought that didn’t include U.S military surplus. I keep hearing reports of secret squirrel units using 300 blackout. Although, I don’t expect them to have any leftovers. At best there may be eventual contact overruns that increase domestic supply. But I’m not that optimistic.

Regarding imports:

Here’s to hoping Ted Cruz reverses that in a couple months!

Marks Owens mentioned that his unit was using .300Blk.

always nice to read something good about the 300blk , i really like mine

after reading that i think i need to buy more ammo though. if my math is correct thats 93,333 rounds per gun , i’m way under stocked.

That would be nice.
