Out of curiosity whats the benefit of the pistol length gas system?
The pressure curve is a lot different on the Blackout than it is on the 5.56mm. A pistol length gas system is the de facto original standard, with a carbine gas system the rough equivalent of the rifle gas system for the 5.56.

Damn NFA! This makes me want to finally get my ass in gear and get a trust set up. In my humble opinion, the 300 blackout is a great cartridge for an SBR.
