For those of you who shoot 3 gun matches with your SBR, would you prefer a 10.5 or 12.5 inch barrel and why?
Thanks!

I don’t think anyone sets out to make a dedicated 3-gun SBR, more like guys with SBR’s will sometimes run them in 3-gun.
Just a couple weeks ago I ran my BCM 11.5" in a 3-gun match for funzees but it certainly wouldn’t be my first choice in regards to a dedicated 3-gun match rifle.
Most 3Gun shooters prefer an 18" over a 16" for the higher velocity to knock over the steel at LR better. I can’t see any advantage the 10.5 would have over the 12.5, but then I’m no AR expert and have yet to win more than one 3Gun shoot.
12.5", but only for the reasons that a longer SBR is generally a better performer anyway.
An SBR for 3G isn’t going to go torching national records, but it will certainly work.
I use my Sbr in 3 gun (11.5" BCM) only at certain matches that I know will be 200 yds and in. Comes in real handy at the NC Recon match in Oxford NC, where you have to carry all your gear all day. Pasting targets and picking up steel is a lot easier with the little guy hanging around your neck.
Also it should be noted that while a Sbr will never be a 18" rifle, With the right components (muzzle brake, Trigger, heavy buffer, as much rail as you can fit on it, etc…) a sbr can do very well as a limited range 3 gun rifle.
I’ve used my 10.5" suppressed SBR and my 14.5" midlength for 3gun (both have Aimpoints w/o a magnifier) for shooting matches where we’re not shooting past about 200yds. Beyond that and I like to have a 1-4x scope.
You forgot to mention the AK74 brake you had on it… that was quite rude.
