I think the report said that he exchanged fire with officers at the metal detectors.

Yep universal background checks are the answer. I mean I was just delayed the purchase of a Glock…the system is full proof it looks like.
I mean, Ive never been arrested, covicted of a felony, cited for anything other than a speeding ticket, and Im a cop who has been subjected to a background investigation, polygraph, pysch tests and passed with flying colors…

I remember, more than a few years ago, a crazy guy shot his way thru the metal detectors and into the U.S. Capital Building. It doesn’t take much. Just someone who wants it bad enough to get in.
I feel bad for the deputies around here who do court security. They have to keep their guard up, while sending countless numbers of purses and brief cases thru the xray machines.
If he did not have access to those “assault clips” this thing would never happen!

That article is about on level with the writings of my 7 YO. Can you plead gather some facts BEFORE you have a case of diarrhea of the press. They don’t know shit about what happened, but feel it prudent to run their mouths. They don’t know who was shot, or who even shot them (LEO or the perp). Why even go to print with that crap???
Because it makes front page news in these trying times and sell papers…
