who has the best deal with shipping on the 223 and/or 5.56 ammo with shipping, and what do you guys prefer to target shoot? when i find a cheap price on the ammo they want to rape me on shipping. weather it’s 1 box or 100, it’s the same. i’m not in the bulk area at this time though.
When I buy I always do for 1000 at a time. I usually go to PSA, Cabelas, Midway, DSG, and ammunition to go in that order. Ammomans prices include shipping. I usually try to go with Fiocchi, Federal, Privi, or US mil surplus. Expect to give around $330.00 shipped.
that’s not to shabby of a price but i see that as bulk. i’m looking for around 200 rounds or so. thanks for the tip though. maybe i will ask for some from santa this year. lol
I shoot PMC Bronze .223 55gr FMJ for my practice ammo. I have bought all my pistol and rifle ammunition from The Armory. Just picked up a thousand rounds of the PMC .223 for $314 shipped. They also sell lots of 200 ($77 shipped) and 500 ($165 shipped). That works out to $0.31 per round for a thousand, $0.33 for five hundred, and $0.38 for two hundred rounds including shipping.
That’s the cheapest I have found for that ammunition including shipping anywhere. It’s not a “sale” price and they have it every day. I have never had to deal with my chosen ammo (in any amount) being sold out or on backorder. So far, their customer service has been excellent. Shipping is fast and communication is superb. It goes out the same day I order it so I typically receive my ammo in 4 to 5 days at the lowest shipping rate. They do offer expedited shipping options.
