Recently took advantage of k-vars sale on their 106’s black poly folder.
I’ve been looking for magazines for this gun, but its near impossible to find them. There are of course the k-var circle10 plastic 223 mags, but are there any metals out there.
Will the SAR-3 magazines work in these rifles?
Could I modify the 5.45 magazines and run them in my 106?
Pretty much any 5.56 AK mag can be made to fit into a 5.56 AK (the amount of work will vary!).

Most of the old East German Wieger mags have dried up. Robinson Arms used to make a replacement follower you could put in the 5.45x39 Bakelites (until all those dried up). The SAR-3 mags might work but I have no experience with them. The Bulgarian mags are top-notch. There might be some Polish Tantal mags around but you’ll pay $$$ for them. Go with the Bulgy circle 10’s. (IMHO)
