I am done ordering anything from Brownells. I placed orders in late September and late October and they screwed both of them up big time. Both times they were unable to tell me if an order had shipped.
They charged my card for the last order, then could not tell me if the item was shipped or even in stock although they stated it was in stock when I ordered.
They failed to make follow up calls both times after offering to call me with updates twice. I have used Brownells for 20 years. Not anymore. They implemented some order processing changes in September and since that time their customer service has tanked.
Brownells sent me an electronic gift card because of the issue you mention. I called and placed an order when their system was down. They took it the old fashioned way with paper and pencil and I had the order a short time later.
Hmm, that kind of pisses me off. I had over $1000 worth of stuff jammed up in this mess and I didn’t get any gift card after bitching them out on the phone.
I will look for it and send you a post it if I can find it. It may have gone to my work email address. I will search it out. My orders were much smaller but it was for our PD, it could have been from the policestore.com side of the house.
