So i have looked all over haven’t found much info on them except for a mini review from Colion Noir and a short review on their 6.8 special AR. I find myself liking the design more and more. Another thing i like is their prepper package. Since i have been looking for a decent bag for range trips, BOB etc. While i wish they offered some non tactical color options it looks like a very well designed bag also that they throw in a couple of mags and a dark angel medical kit for basically free. With tax return coming soon this is a pretty tempting option. As i said there isn’t a whole lot of info out there and they only list a couple tech specs. Wondering if any of you have had any experience with their ar’s or know more about the company? I should also add that i already have a colt 6920 and yes i have sling, iron sights, optic, light, and have done quite a lot of shooting and plan to do more. Just in case you thought this was my first ar.
They are spendy. Why not just go with something proven and cheaper like a BCM or Colt?

To me they seem kind of like black rain ordnance guns, a lil flashy.
^^ he already has a Colt.
Just send them your money.
I’m glad I just don’t send gun companies money as soon as i see something cause if I did I would probably have a bushy or a dpms like my stubborn friend.

But certainly not with the Black Rain price…
If you didn’t notice, it’s a side charging type. And that means proprietary parts if/when they break. They do appear to use quality parts otherwise (BCM, Sampson, B5), but without any additional tech specs, I’d pass until you got more info.
Leave it to some veterinarians to do a side charger. :stop:
Sad to say that’s what I kind of like about it. That’s why I asked hoping to find out more.

Your money my friend. Spend it as you see fit.
I guess I have the problem of having to do a lot research before I spend.

Then the research to me would simply come down to “how prevalent are they?” I mean, even buying a DPMS or a Bushmaster you know you can upgrade a lot of the items without much problem. But with a side charger that has a proprietary BCG (likely), charging handle (certainly) and who knows what else. What’s the price going to be on replacement and how easily can you find them if the company goes out of business?
Smaller start up companies that have novel ideas over the design of the tried and true AR pattern rifles are not always easy to find parts for. I know this for a fact over the piston AR I bought.
Yea, they do seem to use good stuff. Call em up and ask for the true barrel and bolt specs.
Why should one have to call for the “true” specs?

Don’t accuse them of being non-spec. The whole thing gets blown out of proportion and threats of lawyers get tossed around like beads at Mardi Gras.
Not accusing ANYONE of being non-spec, and please don’t take it that way. I just thought it an odd comment to make.
Give them a call. Dean is great to talk to. I had the chance to put about 200rds through one a couple weeks back. The overall feel of the rifle is great the quality is top notch, but personally I wont be buying one till they come out with their x51 prepper package ![]()
Another semi-necro…
Just wanted to say that I ordered a B5 SOPMOD Bravo in Wolf Gray from 2VetsArms at the beginning of May… finally got the stock today. With a little note in it thanking me for my patience and telling me that they were giving me the stock for free.
Which is pretty awesome.
That doesn’t exactly tell us what to expect from their guns, but clearly their customer service is pretty damned awesome.
How do you like your rifle, Fjallhrafn?
Sorry, I don’t have a 2VA rifle. Just bought a B5 from them. Well, “bought” isn’t accurate - ordered it and they gave it to me for free.
I’ve done business with them.
All good!
