I didn’t think this was appropriate for the handgun section but these are 2 very unique pistols. The craftmanship, engineering and ingenuity are just amazing!
Simply incredible. I guess I better get registered for the auction.
Wow. Its a shame no one takes the time to make things like that by hand anymore…all machine built
Amazing.
Are these legal in the UK?
I guess I’d rather use a million USD to buy land and a range, but that’s just one guy’s 'pinion.
Looks great for pocket carry! ![]()
Yes, but how will they hold up at a class, and what is the aftermarket support like?
All kidding aside those are pretty amazing, and if I was incredibly rich I’d bid on those.
Hell, the box is a work of art.
Not what I expected, but very neat.
Amazing craftsmanship.
Simply astounding.
The computer animated replica at 1:37 is just wild! I can’t imagine fabricating and assembling all those tiny gears and gizmos.
So are these for firing birdshot only?
That’s pretty cool, the detailed movement of the little bird is amazing especially for 1820.
I’d love to bid but my wife said no more guns this summer. I might slide another AR or bolt action by her but I don’t have any singing bird pistols and she would notice.
Are they from the Liberace collection? ![]()
It probably took several hours in ACAD to model the mechanism; I can’t fathom how many man hours it took to actually draft and hand make one in the 19th Century. Breathtaking artistry.
Cool find.
Is it bad I want to shoot them, just to watch all those fuckers cry and die a little inside.
Did you watch the entire video?
no. I guess I should.
edit: Damn it, OWNED by not watching the whole video.
