2 point sling?

Anyone have a recommendation for a 2 point sling? Pro’s cons bla bla blah

I have Vtac padded, BFG vickers padded and ferro concepts slingster. I think I like the slingster the best with the Vickers in 2nd. I’m just a regular joe so just my opinion.

The slingster seems to be less obtrusive with fewer dangly bits and the sliders seem to move a little easier than the vickers.

If using it with a low mid weight or lighter set up the Proctor V3 is very handy.

Simple, light, quiet, self contained, and works well unless using with a heavier setup due to 1" width.

Didn’t know he had a padded V4 version out until grabbing the link.

Edgar Sherman Design (ESD). Padded ~$100, unpadded about $50 depending on the color (~20 available). Bought one for the Flecktarn color and after setup was sold for ease of use.

I use both the BFG Vickers (no pad) and the Proctor. I love the simplicity of the Proctor but both are good for me.

I used a bunch of slings from the 3-point and 2-point Magpul ones, to the BFG padded and not padded Vickers slings but I settled on the Haley D3. Slim, right amount of padding, and it doesn’t appear to get as easily snagged on other gear as the Vickers slings.

No frills, no bragging rights. I have several (from this seller) and they work great here in CONUS. Purchased from about 12 tears ago through about 5 years or so ago.

Proctor on my house gun (for no special reason), IDF on everything else. The Proctor feels skinny to me due to running the IDF slings for decades, but that’s not a knock on it.
