Well the deal fell thru, and I figure it is just to much money because of the economy. I am going to re-list the gun only, with only 2 magazines and reprice it. I’ll try and sell the accessories in the other forum.
Here is a 1st series Kimber Classic Target.
NO TRADES. Price is firm a $1050.00 shipped. I have all of the paperwork from Kimber with the gun. Including the work done in the Custom Shop.
I bought this Pistol in 2000. Very lightly used until 2010. Then, In January, I got it out and shot about 2 magazines through it. since it had been sitting for so long I decided to send it off to Kimber for some work.
Here is what was done:
-Complete Custom Shop Gun Check.
-They did a complete detail strip. clean, and lube, after adjustment. The trigger pull is a crisp 4 lbs. It had adjustable target sights, and I had Kimber install their night sites on the weapon. Front and rear.
- I asked for a new 16 lb recoil spring installed with 2 extra springs to be returned with the weapon.
-The top of the slide was flattened and serrted like a Gold Cup. - The front strap was checkered at 30 L. P. I. See pictures.
-Dennis, the gunsmith at the Custom Shop recommended that the frame under the trigger guide be cut, so the weapon could be held higher, for a more natural pointing position. I told him go ahead.
When they were done with the machining, they refinished the weapon with they’re Black Kim Pro finish.
1 red chamber flag.
