I have a 1997-1998 manufactured Sig P229 in .40S&W for sale. I bought this pistol in 1999, and have used it on duty for many years in addition to a department issued P229. However, we stopped using Sigs in 2006, and I have just been keeping this pistol as sort of a memento. It has some wear here and there, but it has been treated well. I’m guessing that I have put around 10k rounds through it(probably 1/10th of what I put through my duty gun). The rifling looks great, and the pistol is still a tack driver. Reliability is outstanding. Getting money together for new baby expenses, so I’m selling things off that I don’t immediately need. It comes with the grey factory case, original instruction manual, and two 12rd German factory magazines. I also had Heinie straight-8 night sights installed on the pistol last year and they were manufactured in 2011. I want $525 for the P229, and I will ship for free to the lower 48 states. I prefer PayPal, but will also accept a USPS money order.
