1911 with micro red dot?

Does anyone have a micro red dot (Docter, RMR, etc.) on their 1911? I’ve got a Trijicon MS04 that was briefly mounted as a 1 O’clock sight on my AR-15, and now I want to put it on my 1911. For those of you who have used a setup like this, how do you like it?

I had a red dot on one of mine for a while, and ended up going back to the irons. Just didn’t feel right on a 1911.
