Both are classical designs. Both have a steel frame, great ergonomics and condition 1 capability. Which one would you choose and why if some bad thing happens, world war, zombies attack, apocalypse…Please, don’t post answers like, a would take a Glock, SIG etc.etc.

Neither, I would use a Glock 19 for a myriad of reasons. Instead of coming up with random SHTF threads take some time and read through the stickies and start educating yourself. Have a good day.
I think SHTF posts are pretty lame especially posts involving SHTF pistols for numerous reasons.
A far more likely use for a pistol is home defense and for that I think both the CZ or M1911 would work well but so would numerous other quality pistols such as Glock, M&P, Beretta, SIG, etc…
