Hey Hey M4, I was going through pics of my pistols today and decided to post a thread on my 1911’s. I love showing these off and have to say, in the last few years I have a very good handle on the differences in manufacturers and what they are all about… I will admit, I do not own everyone of them all any longer (sold a few of them to fund other things like some of the Semi customs and Full Customs I own), I figured you all would appreciate this!
The Bunker pistol is by far the best one of the group. All the Semi-Custom 1911’s are nice though… I have to say, other than the Bunker gun, it would be hard to choose which one is best!
So of the production and semi custom guns, which is your favorite and why? And between Brown, Baer, Wilson, and Nighthawk, which do you think makes the better gun?
One of my first pistols was a full rail TRP Op. I was 21 and traded it for a Deagle .50AE I think. I had the Deagle right about that time. Think that was the only thing of value for that trade. That whole go back in time and tell your young stupid ass self something…yeah man if I had it to do over. That thing was slick.
To answer your question, yes and no… I have been considering a crafter model 2! That would replace the trp full rail… And be a nice upgrade. I’ve been so clue to pulling the trigger on a NN many times as well, but timing has not been right.
I am really getting into the full custom guns these days! One on order from Joe Chambers, i have one pictured from Bunker Arms, and a on order from Brandan. I’ve thought of sending the TRP to Lou Biando - BEC… But it would require selling off a few pistols.
