Has there been a change made to the 180gr HST in the past few years? I was looking at some old Ammolab data and the HST didn’t perform so great through denim into calibrated gel. I was under the impression that the HST does quite well in that test. The lot # given for the ammo used in the test was lot# 104638T181. The tests were from 2003, so I imagine that is plenty of time to have tweaked the design to make it perform better. Are the old Ammolab test credible?
The HST design was indeed improved, as the early versions did not do well on 4 layer denim testing.
