I ran about 60 rounds of the cheaper Russian ammo to test… it worked fine… I exclusively run PMC XTAC NATOor Federal AE 223 ‘tactical’ which is ALL brass casings…

there is 2 small knicks on the barrel but UNDER the Troy FF from where I cut the END CAP off to install and 1 micro-nick on the top rail where it meets the Troy…
