Well I finally got my build done but now I’m looking to trade for a quality full size 1911 or a nice AK pattern rifle. I am not dead set on trading but I would do it for a good deal.
This build was started in December before the shootings and was finished about 3 weeks ago. Since then I have only put 60 rounds through it to test and zero the rifle. All shots were LC M855 and functioned perfectly out of a USGI mag, Gen 3 Pmag, and a Troy battlemag. All 3 magazines would lock back every time (about as much as I could in 60 rounds anyway).
All parts are new except for the bolt carrier which is a lightly used Colt I picked up from a friend. Not sure on round count but it is low. Pinning of the FH and setting the GB was done by a local smith. He did a great job if you ask me. Both are rock solid and properly indexed.

What I am looking for in a trade is a quality full size 1911. I am open to cash being offered on either side of the trade depending on what is being offered. The only features I am dead set on are that it is full size and in .45 ACP. A railed gun is a plus as well as ledge sights. Let me know what you got and hopefully we can work something out.
As far as the AK, just let me know what you have.
