12.5" barrel question...

I can’t get anyone to email me back. I need to know, when BCM or Daniels defense advertises their 12.5" barrels, is that measured from the tip of the barrel to where the bolt face should be, or from the tip of the barrel to the end of the barrel extension???

Breech face to muzzle is how all AR barrels I know of are measured.
