I have two of the 1000 lm x300s, an old 500lm x300, a m600DF and an old M600u 600lm. I have one x300 1000lm on my duty gun and the DF on my patrol rifle. They are completely different beams and the 1000lm x300 doesn’t have the throw the DF has in my opinion. Especially the throw I want in a long gun application. Now I will say at thirty yards at night, the 1000lm x300 will fill a vehicle with light. Haven’t had the opportunity to do that with the M600df. In comparison with the old x300 I have, the new 1000lm x300 blows it out of the water.
