100 Years Dodge Commercial

Some sage advice from a few of our elders.

The very end of the video is a salute to England. This being the 4th of July and all!

Somehow I don’t think those are all personally held opinions so much as paid lines.

I’m even less impressed by the elderly person flipping the bird. Doesn’t really make me want to buy a Dodge. So many things they could have done that would have been terribly impressive, sadly this is what we got.

Ah yes, an Italian car with a Mexican motor and a German transmission filled with small parts from China assembled in Canada. “Never forget where you came from” indeed.

Didn’t they go bankrupt? Hmmmm how about 4 years of Dodge legally speaking.

Ouch, tough crowd . . .

The ad is seems to be directed to the mindless non thinking consumer. OK the Obama voters. I guess buying a car and going to the park may be the last freedoms they are Both owned by the government…

Anyone who would spend money on a Dodge is on Marijewanda! Holy crap are their vehicles GARBAGE!

Put this on the shelf next to “Chrysler. Imported from Detroit.”

There’s only one ad for a Challenger:

Pre bailout I was very big into supporting the American auto industry out of a misguided sense of patriotism for decades. Guess I didn’t realize that I was indirectly supporting the DNC via the unions.

Post bailout…I would now search out and buy (even with poorer performance and greater cost) a 100% made in communist red China vehicle before EVER supporting GM or Dodge again. Bailout combined with GMs use of the money and failure to repay the American taxpayer is something I will NEVER forget.

Buying GM or Dodge is buying commie China. Virtually all small parts, wires, electrical connectors, fasteners, switches, bulbs, castings, moldings, etc. on “American” cars are made in China.

Guess where that dandy ignition switch that cost 13 American lives and resulted in 3,400,000 shitty cars being recalled was produced? Yup, China.

Meh, love my Charger. No problems for the last two years 22k miles.

Pretty much all this thread is going to be is “my truck/car is better because…” Some BS reason. I’m glad you enjoy your Charger, they are great cars. I used to sell both GM and Chrysler vehicles, and each has their own type. As far as engines, transmissions, warranty, quality, Dodge is one of the best in the industry. And most of them are built in Santillo, Mexico, for those who aren’t aware. Ford may thump it’s chest and say that they are built in America and all that other political BS, but the truth is they are assembled in America with foreign parts, same as 90% of the vehicles that are “American” made. It’s laughable.
