I’m looking to build a SBR upper soon. I’m thinking about building a 10.5 inch upper using a Noveske barrel with pinned lo-pro gas block. I really like the 8" Knights URX III rail. I’ve experienced that rail on a friends 9" AAC blackout upper. I would guess that the gas block will be partially exposed (which is fine with me). I’m wondering if anyone else has tried a similar setup, and has any pictures. Any additional information is welcome.

Not for nothing, but I would never run a 10.5" that wasn’t on as long a rail as possible. I just really like that extra real estate for my hand, and I really dislike burning things.
I’m looking at an 8" handguard for my 10.5" upper for one reason and one reason only - OPS suppressors can’t have a longer handguard than that. I’d go longer too.
