I sent LBT an email about their 6094-Slicks on a Saturday evening and regretted it at the time, figuring I would get buried under a pile of other general customer inquiries by the time Monday rolled around. After all, it is so hard trying to get anyone on the phone or to answer an e-mail at many retailers, dealers, distributors and manufacturers (in today’s politically charged panic buying).
Not to worry, the man/myth/legend Kevin Hughes had an email in my box this morning, following up on my questions.
Service… on a Sunday!
This goes in my top five list of positive experiences in dealing with companies. It makes me comfortable spending my hard earned doll-hairs with people like this.
Thanks LBT.
Note - Mods, if this should be somewhere else feel free to move it. I did not see anywhere else that would be more appropriate to give props to them.
Another +1 here on LBTs customer service. They are really a company that makes it enjoyable to do business with. It seems like they truly care about the end user and aren’t out there just to sell product, they make stuff that works for people that use it. They take care of members of the military and are one of the few companies willing to do custom work for small units.
My next PC will be a 6094, just waiting until they release them in US4CES camo after the Army adopts it.
My first experience with them was a few months ago when I ordered a MAS Gray Operator Kit. They were quick, efficient, and helped me change my order to include some additional items with no problem. I was very happy with the service!
Solid gear & they back it up with generous & speedy customer service. Who the fok says “keep it” these days when asked where to return the wrong order to? LBT
ETA: To be specific, I worded that weird, it wasn’t that the wrong order was sent. One of the items was slightly different but still functionally acceptable. They sent me a complete replacement order AND let me keep the first order.
I’ve placed a couple orders from them and normally they are stellar, but I did have 1 “ok” experience.
My order was “shipping label created” but never shipped. After a bunch of emails and being forwarded to different people it finally got resolved and they sent me another. It wasn’t an awful experience by any means, and it was around the holiday time so I am sure they were busy.
Either way, I always check out LBT’s sales, they have some screaming deals at times. They had their “Large wheeled Padded Load out bag” on sale (in multicam) for $99.00 over the holidays. They nomrally sell for over $400.00! While they are much nicer than Eagle Industries Nato Load out bag, they are not worth $400, but $99.00 is a really fair price.
