1.7 and up lpvo mounts

Who makes a mount like this that’s budget? 1.5 is a little too low. I know you get what you pay for. But this is for a range only gun

Assuming you already have the 1.5" mount, perhaps a riser makes the most sense.

See link below for example of riser:

Can confirm that the YHM both works and is cheap.

$34.94 shipped to NC

I got the YHM riser to see if I liked a taller mount for my red dot. Was first looking at the Unity Tactical Fast riser but didn’t want to spend 100 bucks on something I was not sure of. When I went back to compare to see if I wanted to switch after deciding I like the taller mount I found that the two both weight almost the same. The YHM works well enough I doubt I’ll change it now.

One thing to note, you have to slide it on from the front or back, also the bolts are threaded the full length, so you have exposed threads in between the 1913 on the upper receiver.

I also ran down this path, but also needed a lot of eye relief.

Did the YHM riser and an extended ADM 30mm scout. After I was able to find a used 1.7 for about $150. Can’t remember if this an ADM or Midwest Industries on my mini-recce.

Another option is high rings 1.5" and then a riser

Why is it too low? Unclear why standard mounts won’t work on a range gun.

Midwest Industries makes a 1.9” high QD mount that is reasonably priced.

I have a couple of them but find the regular height to be more than sufficient. For scopes it is generally better to keep the height over bore at a minimum unless you are dealing with a 50mm objective which can make mounting difficult on some rifles.
