Never mind bullets - what about cost of all the other stuff? (powder, primers etc.)?

Until guys are willing to leave it on the shelf, we'll have to keep paying it. I quit buying any components for a while. I don't click on any "sale" emails for components.

Un-mothballed my Lee press to get back in reloading, thinking cost of (any) ammo is unacceptable.
Then saw the price of 8lbs of IMR4064, took me 10 minutes to stop hyperventilating.
What de FUQUE is going on??? Yes it's still worth it to roll yer own, but barely so. Prices are just off the rails.
Will it ever come down?
Seriously - who can afford to shoot any more? Its no longer a 'regular working persons' game, really.

How much are you seeing it for?

4064 has increased about $25 a pound, but there are several alternatives that have only increase by about $10 a pound. TAC, H335, 2230 for example. TAC has worked great for me behind the 62, as well as Benchmark. VihtaVuori N135 is another good alternative.

Shop around or find someone local that is getting rid of their stash. In the last three years I have been paying between $10-20 a pound for older stuff including 4320, 748, and Benchmark.

Agreed, my beloved H335 & BLC 2 have only gone up a few bucks.

Spied a can of H335 at one of the LGSs the other day @ 42.00 bucks, grabbed it quick. Was their only one, or I woulda grabbed more, as it's been around 50 bucks locally.
