View Full Version : Gen 2 23
Got a lead on a couple gen 2 23s, with that being said I'm really not a huge fan of .40 and would like to stay with 9mm, so my question is would a conversion barrel on the 23 make it any less reliable for everyday edc, or should I swap the entire slide, or should i just continue my quest for a gen 2 19?
thanks,
-Luke

Personally I would continue my quest for a Gen 2 19. Not to say that a 9mm conversion will not work but for HD, SD and EDC I keep the caliber specific to the gun unless it's a 357.
You have to consider the extractor is going to be different, the mags will be different, and other pieces that may hinder you when you actually need it. For a range toy I would so go for it.
thats what i figured, but I thought id let wiser minds expound on the situation
