Yeah SCAR isn’t much improved as compared with HK9x…
It’s massively improved
ergonomically
-much lighter, over two lbs
-a collapse stock that doesn’t cut ones cheek, and has many LOP adjust
-at least 1/2 the time to reload
-knowing when to reload, as one gets tactile indicators the weapon is empty… not a loud click on an empty chamber
-can actually use the safety on the swing to tgt, unlike the HK9x series which req being run off safe
-any manner of electric-optics may be instantly afixed
logistically
-totally modular can change out barrel in minutes, just like HK:rolleyes:
-replaceable barrel/extension/bolt wears, not receiver bulging
-far, far easier modular replacement of items with the lego-like construction
The SCAR17, KAC EMC, and other modern developments so outclass the M14, G3, FN-FAL and other rifles of 1940’s design base, it’s laughable to suggest otherwise.
