    Paratus 16 Rifle

Curious as to if anyone has any experience with this weapon? Looks interesting. It is a DI gun as well. I will admit, it looks like a 4gery of some sorts of the ACR to some degree. That is just my opinion though. It is also available to us civilians for the bargain price of only $5,600 bucks.

The more I look at it, the more it looks like a cross between the ACR and the XCR. The way the upper locks into the lower is similar to the XCR and the upper looks similar to the ACR as well as the fore-end of the rifle is ACR-esque.

Looks like something Black Rain Ordnance would think up.

It may be a fine rifle, but its ugly as hell.

And for the money, Id rather have 2 Larue's

I'm curious to see the internals.

    Is that a Noveske Switchblock?

I'm curious to the safety and reliability of solid head spacing just locking a barrel nut and QD nut by hand..seems at risk for loose chamber specs over time

I thought the $5600 price tag was high as well, till I saw that they're "tool makers for clandestine operations." Now I want one.

That was sarcasm right. I hope you are joking.

Too many cases where if you put a high price tag on something, people for some reason want it even more. I guess it goes with the old saying 'you want what you can have.'

In the looks dept. it reminds me of a Sig 556.

Other than that I can't think of any gun I'd spend $5,000 on

It looks to use AR type barrel with barrel extension. So headspacing does not rely on barrel-to-receiver fitment. Of course it is not good when barrel comes loose while shooting. Kind of reduces accuracy
