    I agree. Not only is it a waste, I wouldn't want my tax dollars going to the "hood rats" that are supposedly going to be selling their guns back to the police. I'm sure they're not going to do anything productive with that money.

    sounds like if i murdered someone with a firearm I can legally dispose of such evidence AND get money for it

    Hi Point turn in? for $50 sounds like a deal to me.

    They will action the firearms to pay for better equipment for the dept.

    Plus if they are stupid enuf to turn them in they dont need them. I would be the first one offering $50 more per gun in the parking lot.

    Asheville, where? I have a bunch of Lorcin, Jennings, Ravens, Brycos, etc, as well as some rusted hulks one could conceivably call "functional."

    I'd expect break-ins to rise. before the buy back to actualy start so the rats steal guns to turn in. just a thought of mine here where I live earler in the year there was a bunch of break in just stealing gun safes, the theives were leaving computers, TVs, and Money laying around
