That is correct and as soon as you get the gun out of the rack its chambered and another round is put in the magazine to replace the one you just put in the chamber. There is no waiting around to confront the bad guy to impress him by racking your gun. That is stupid.

One problem I had with the article is stating you need a rifle barrel and sabo slugs to get good accuracy with slugs. With Breneke slugs I can shoot 6 inch groups at 100 yards all day long without a rifled barrel. I much prefer a rifle to a shotgun for most things. But to say a shotgun is useless as a slug gun is wrong.
