Pardon my ignorance, but why did they move the location of the pivot pin? Looks like it only fits a proprietary upper. Or did I answer my own question?

because it takes both, their 7.62 upper and any existing 5.56 upper. the angled part with a lower front takedown pin, is that it clears the delta ring on the shorter 5.56 upper.

This is pure observation from what I could gather at the show, factual data could differ once Colt release the product...

The 5.56 conversion block inserts into the 7.62 magwell. the conversion block has two pivot pins. one is visible to the eye at the front near the middle of the mag well. it secures the mag block into the lower receiver. the other pin is hidden between the magwell, which lock the standard 5.56 upper to the mag block.

The 7.62 upper just have one pin, it connects to the pivot pin slot at the front, near the middle of the mag well.

URXIII was not expected to be noticed at SF's booth...

AAC has bought a number of URXIII rails for use on their 300BK programs, however at this time it is not yet commercially released.

got ya, that would be ok but sence I already have the MRP then I would need another one and that would just cause me trouble
