Kevin, can you tell us what caused the damage above?? What type of suppressor? Looks like a Gemtech bi-lock...is the can a Gemtech?
What ammo and barrel length?

It was not a GemTech
It was a RSA (South Africa) built one - I picked up in theatre from a guy who had imported a few
Ammo issued M855 bbl 10.5" LMT
The can held for about 540 rounds fine. Some semi - some auto.
I actually have pics of the rounds when it went bad.
I will crop them and upload them
Suppressive qualities after the dramatic endcap blow-out??
next to NILL
All of a sudden it got really loud.
I noticed the front looked odd - so we examined it and decided -- bah F*** it -- and then hammered out a lot of mags
Some pics of the incident
The Can suffered from a failed baffle after about 580rds fired today -- then we just let it have it (no baffles remain inside it now...).
My guess is a poor weld let go on the baffle -- and after it left go it damaged the others which led to baffle strikes and then comlete failure
I'd be curious to hear any other ideas as to failure
Blimey! You're a brave soul Kevin.
Just dumb
