7.62x25 Tokarev Upper?
Shotgun News has a write-up about them. Anybody know anything about these?

Ron Williams is good to go in our book. I have owned and shot several of his uppers and bought one of the first 7.62x25 uppers he built. Ran great. I plan on getting another one. We have several different or odd caliber AR uppers.

I don't believe he has a web site. PM me and I will see if I can find his email address.

I could see this round having great potential in a 7.5" VSBR PDW type weapon.
Very interested in one of these uppers.

I am waiting on a Ron Williams (RMW Xtreme) 7.62x25 upper at the moment also, should be here in a cpl weeks.
I can't wait for it to get here.
I originally was looking at a 9mm colt but since I wanted a G19 I decided on the 7.62x25 upper. I like the x25 round better anyway! I got the x25 upper and G19 for about the same price as a colt 9mm.

anyone have any experience with these uppers http://www.cncgunsparts.com/home. I like the idea of more weird caliber ar's in my safe but want to read some more reviews from those with experience before taking the tok plunge!
What type of effective range would an upper in this caliber have and what type of groups can it pull at 50-100 yards? Anyone have experience with these stainless steel barrels they are using? and the nasty old tok corrosive ammo? would love a range report

It's the same uppers they were talking about in the above posts. I would also like to have one of these as a range toy.

That sounds neat, especially because of the surplus ammo prices.
One thing I'd like to see is a .357 Sig upper. I can't imagine what velocity one of those would put out on a 16" barrel, but I would think it would be close to 2000fps? I know Olympic made a blowback one, but I had heard those like to fire out of battery or something like that plus I can't ever see myself buying anything from them.

I have a RMW Xtreme which sells them to cncgunparts so it is the same.
It is a very nice well built upper that functions flawlessly and I am shooting it out to 100 yds no problem and could easily hit 150 yds if my local range went that far.
I plan on using it in a carbine course to offset ammo cost even though it's not so bad at the moment.
I may even try my hand at competing in some local matches with it, my chl inst. has been wanting me to get into competitions for a cpl years know, so I may try my hand.
The upper is a winner all the way and a quality product, I still need to take pix and video, so none of that yet.

I really wouldn't mind getting me a 10.5" upper and some mags. I wish there were some in depth reviews about them.

i bought a 11.5, one major thing wrong with it....................too long
so i had adco cut it to 8", re thread it to 1/2x36 so i could use a 9mm vortex, just waiting on a handguard from DD,
i put about 300 rds through it before cutting it, ran like a sowing machine, absolutely perfect!

Lone Wolf R&D has plans to build a complete carbine in .357 SIG.
The existing 9G receiver was designed to take basicaly all 9mm, .40 S&W and .357 SIG Glock mags. I definitely will be adding a .357 SIG upper to use on my 9G carbine once they are available.

Does anyone actually have one of these? What sort of velocity are you getting?
http://www.reedsammo.com/
Reed's Ammo has an 85gr round that is getting 1800fps out of pistol. I am trying to find out what it would get out of carbine.
