My Colt "LE6930CK" upper half arrived today. It came in the typical Colt upper receiver assembly box. Here's a picture of the label along with a LE6921CK for comparison. Note that there's nothing on the box or inside the box that indicates LE6930CK. The label indicates that its model number is 63931. A search of the internet of that number along with Colt yields absolutely nothing other than a page showing that Botach is selling the same upper receiver assembly.
The bag inside was already open for some reason. Neither a manual or a muzzle cover was included as is typical with these upper receiver assemblies. As you'd expect, it's a 10.5" barreled upper receiver assembly with a BCG and a Magpul rear sight.
The railed handguard is the same one that was available on the 14.5" pinned and welded European 6920's.
The bolt face shows no sign of it having been fired. I don't know if that's typical or not for these upper receiver assemblies.
So, all in all, I pretty much got what I expected. There was nothing to validate Arms Unlimited's designation of it being a LE6930CK upper. In fact, the label seems to contradict that. These could be contract overruns, a one shot deal just because or whatever. I'm probably going to buy a Colt SBR lower half to put with this just for the heck of it.
Glad you are happy with your purchase. AU has had some interesting stuff lately. (At least to me)
Colt logo rail is pretty cool, too bad those don't seem to be available as an item for purchase.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
Chuck, we miss ya man.

FYI, Arms Unlimited is up to their shenanigans again. Prior to receiving my upper, someone had posted a two start out of five star review of this upper. There were valid points, but I think it was overly critical. Well, that review is now gone and there's a new review that's five star. While there's no good reason to ever manipulate such a rating system, Arms Unlimited really has no need to do so. Many of their offerings are unique and speak for themselves. I guess some people don't feel that they're not doing their job unless they're pulling one over on someone else.
On a more positive note, I was able to buy a factory Colt SBR lower half to mate to this upper.
