The cant (or lack of) and claw are the big differences to me.
I also use a T1C foam “wedge” on bottom of holster, which helps hold the pistols grip tighter to body, as the claw does.

A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.
