I guess it would be my S&W Mod66-1 .357.

Mine is my S&W model 10-8. 3" heavy barrel. Hits where it's aimed & the second best revolver trigger I've ever pulled.
I bought this 10-8 dirt cheap on GB, probably due to being so severely molested. With a little work it proved to be a nice shooting K Frame so I spruced it up a little bit. I have a couple other 3" K Frames and all of them have very smooth actions. A 3" Model 64 is my favorite .38

Not much beats a well broken in, or tuned, K frame double action in the revolver world.
The 2” mod 12 (6 shot alloy K frame)I mentioned weighs 19 oz for reference.

One of my versions worked over by Karl Sokol. Superb double action. The Airweight frame does sting on recoil as the loads get stouter, hence the slightly larger grips/scales.
Excellent old “Flat Latch”, and Karl does very good work.
Grips look like Herrett’s. I went with Tyler T-Grip and OEM Stocks to keep grip as minimalist as possible for concealment.
Appears to be a new Front Sight as well.
That one should be pretty easy to shoot well.

Find a Smith 65 3". You'll need $$$ and patience in order to find and buy one. Last one I saw was 2 years ago and was $900.
I inherited mine in 2001 after the passing of my father. It was his issued weapon and he bought it from his department when he retired for a whopping $125.00 in 1990.
Yep. My carry gun for years:
