Interesting. The valve that came with my 20" bbl is 1.6/1.4/1.0/x so it looks like they did take into account the longer rifled bbl length on the 20". It still seems over gassed, though.
When you said yours worked on 1.2, was that with a suppressor? Maybe I'll try mine on the 1.0 setting.
No. All the ammunition that I listed above was fired at the 1.2 setting without a suppressor. I wish my valve had 1.4/1.2/1.0/X. Let us know how yours works on the 1.0 setting.
Got to the range earlier than I thought I would. I tried the 751LB 20" on the 1.0 gas valve setting. It didn't seem over gassed compared to the 1.4 setting. Brass ejected 15 feet to 3 o'clock or so (compared to 30 feet to 1 o'clock on the 1.4 setting). The case necks were also less dented and the case body had minimal to no dents (compared to severe denting of the case neck and body on the 1.4 setting). The ejection pattern was a little more erratic but the bolt still locked back.
I wish my valve had 1.3/1.1/0.9/x.
Question: For those of you with the Swiss AR stock adapter, what receiver end plate will work on it? I tried using a standard one on mine last night, and it would not snap in place. The indentation on the adapter appears to be a circle rather than the oval on the end plate. I will post pics when I get a chance.
