277 Wolverine General Thoughts and Experiences?
I'm curious about the 277 Wolverine and am looking for feedback from shooters who might have some experience with this cartridge in shorter barrels.
I like the 300BLK and enjoy shooting it. But it doesn't put out very impressive numbers, velocity-wise, unless lighter bullets are used. Even then the 2,350fps from a 110gr bullet becomes 2,200fps from a short barrel.
The Wolverine is supposed to address the low velocity by using a case that is similar to the 7.62X40WT but necked down for smaller and lighter bullets. Apparently 2600fps with 90gr bullets is possible with the 277.
But what about from something like a 10in barrel? Does anyone have experience in this area? Thank you.

“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."
