Installed the Geissele Hi-Speed National Match "Match Rifle" trigger yesterday.
1st stage set to 2 lbs
2nd stage set to .5 lbs
Over travel set to non, as I like it.
    Trigger reset is positive.
All I can say is this trigger is the finest 2 stage I have ever pulled.
Had all intentions of going out today to live fire it, but it has been raining since 01:30 and not letting up.
So just doing some dryfire today to get used to the trigger.

    Thank you Geissele;

I recommend staying away from those damn Geissele triggers, they will ruin you forever and you'll want to put them in all your ARs. For those that are already ruined and missed the killer Black Friday sales Primary Arms still has them for 20% off.

It's too late for me but maybe the rest of you can learn from our lessons and stay as far away as you can from those EVIL Geissele triggers.

titsinritz is correct, let this be your final warning.

Timney single stage is my favorite, I just do not like a two stage trigger. The Timney I have is a 3lb and it really helps with precision shooting because when you do your breathing correctly and squeeze the trigger you cannot predict when it will break, this seems to get me some great groupings. With a second stage, too me it has a predictable break. JMO

I guess I'll never understand the preference for an unpredictable trigger break, I want mine predictable, very predictable.

Exactly, I think I would have more of a tendency to pull in anticipation or flinch with an unpredictable trigger break.

I have competed over the years with shotguns, rifles and pistols.
IMHO, you have to know when the round is going off to hit your target with precision.

    YMMV

I am buiding my first AR, after reading and going over information I ended up using the Geissele trigger. I did a pre build assembly to comfirm all the parts fit and it is what I want before I start the final assembly. Just doing some dry firing with the lower built, the trigger is great. It will only get better as it wears in some with usage.

I am getting a new trigger in a few weeks. I think I have landed on the SD-C or SD-E.

I liked the cool factor in the new CMC crusaded and the price point when per ordering is nice.

Either one I choose I think I will be happy with.
